How is this sweet girl of ours 6 months already?! Everyone always tells you to enjoy every single moment because they grow up right before you eyes. I feel like this last month she has grown leaps and bounds. She is so active, animated and happy. She makes me smile all day long, I am even obsessed with her crying face. Every time I read the sign that is in the photo above I get a big swell in my heart. I purchased this sign just after she was born and it is word-for-word how I want her to live her life. I want her to be comfortable in her own skin. I want her to chase after her dreams. And I want her to never doubt the person that she is. I sure hope this girl grows up strong and brave and confident. I hope to keep this sign hanging in her nursery as she grows, as a constant reminder. I purchased this sign HERE, they have so many beautiful signs to choose from.

What Scarlett’s Up to This Month:
- She has been rolling all over the place this month. For the last few months she has been able to roll back to belly and belly to back, but this month she started rolling EVERYWHERE! I will look away for a second and she will have rolled a few times, off her mat and onto the kitchen floor! It cracks me up every single time. But, is also a reminder she will be crawling soon! We NEED to baby-proof this place. I guess it’s time for our beloved bar-cart full of glassware to be put away!
- She can sit up on her own! Towards the end of the month she just randomly started sitting up totally unassisted! This was an unexpected milestone as we hadnt really been practicing this much! She is pretty chunky, so Ryan and I always say she has such good balance because of her wide base =) This has been a milestone she LOVES! She can sit up and play with toys for like an hour, content as can be. And it is so darn cute watching her sit up like a big girl. This also makes me a bit sad, she doesn’t look like a bitty newborn anymore!
- She is continuing to work on solids. This has been one that we have struggled with. We learned a few weeks ago after giving her oatmeal cereal several times that she wasn’t tolerating it. After giving it to her about 5 times she started projectile vomiting 2 hours after eating it. I am a bit worried about this, but we have gone forward with trying other solids. She has had no other puking episodes, but is not a fan of ANY of the purees we have tried. Hopefully she will start to enjoy solids soon! If anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way!

Products We Loved This Month:
- Little Unicorn Deluxe Muslin Quilt: Scarlett is rolling ALL over the place lately! We lay this quilt down on the ground to give her lots of room to roll around. We scatter toys over the blanket and she can play for long periods of time! This quilt is super soft and worth the splurge in my opinion!
- Little Giraffe Luxe Herringbone Bath Towel: This is again a bit of a splurge, but is totally worth it! Scarlett gets a bath about every 3 days right now, and she has already outgrown her infant towels. Not to mention they have gotten quite rough, even though I used fabric softener every wash. I read great reviews on this towel, and decided to make it an early Christmas gift (because she has no clue what Christmas is Haha!) She is so snuggly and adorable in this hooded towel. Not to mention the packaging on this towel is to die for. SO beautiful!
- Sophie La Girafe Teether: Teething has struck this household and oh man it has been rough. Scarlett has been a pretty happy and chill baby up to this point. And honestly, she is still pretty happy-g0-lucky. But I have seen her crabby moments creep in a bit more over the last few weeks. And there are times where we will do anything to ease the pain a little bit. This teether is seriously the best thing ever. She gets so excited when we give it to her and she chews on it all day long!
- Cloud Island Sleepers: These have been our favorite sleepers this month. Scarlett is a pretty chunky baby and is always wearing several sizes up from her actual size. These fit her throughout the whole month. They are a soft cotton and have not shrunk at all for us, even after multiple washes. A great feature with these is that the zipper goes from the top to the bottom, I like this for easier diaper changes. Plus the designs are super cute and they are super affordable!
- Dohm White Noise Sound Machine: We were traveling a lot this last month and while Scarlett adapts well to sleeping in the pack n’ play, she never wants to miss the party. When we are home we keep it pretty quiet once Scarlett goes down for bed. But when we are traveling, often times family is over and hanging out. So in order to get her to go down and not hear the party in the next room we use this sound machine. We have used this one since she was born and it has been a lifesaver.
We are so looking forward to each stage with Scarlett, but man I have been having all the feels lately thinking about how fast it is going! I know every single mom wishes we could slow down time and enjoy each and every moment with our babies just a little bit longer. But, we can’t wait to see what she discovers and achieves in her 7th month!!
